Jack Wurfl

Jochen “Jack” Wurfl is a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor who endured the unimaginable terror of living as a Jew under Adolf Hitler’s brutal dictatorship. His story is one of survival, perseverance, and the triumph of the human spirit in the face of history’s darkest chapter.

As one of the few remaining Holocaust survivors—part of a rapidly disappearing generation with fewer than 60,000 still alive today—Wurfl has dedicated his later years to sharing his testimony. His book, My Two Lives, chronicles his harrowing experiences during World War II and the journey that followed as he rebuilt his life.

Through his writings and personal accounts, Wurfl ensures that the lessons of history are not forgotten, offering a powerful reminder of resilience, hope, and the enduring fight for truth and justice.
