Colorado Sheriff Mikesell: The “Enhance Law Enforcement Integrity” Bill

The Colorado Legislature is fast-tracking a bill that, in certain circumstances, will make law enforcement officers individually liable for damages and attorneys fees up to $25,000 for violations of constitutional rights, requires body cameras, and imposes many other limitations on police activity and requires extensive reporting.

Teller County, Colorado Sheriff Jason Mikesell joins Andrew Wommack to discuss their concerns that this proposed law – SB20-217 – would have many harmful and unintended consequences that will ultimately reduce their ability to protect the citizens of Colorado.
